Nori Rice Balls recipe

Ingredients:

1 cups of quick brown rice.
1 ½ cups of water.
¼ teaspoon of salt.
8 nori sheets.
½ medium carrot.
Umeboshi paste.

Soy sauce.
Grated ginger.

Preparation Instructions:

Cook the rice in the water over medium-high heat until tender and the water is absorbed. Allow to cool to room temperature.

Cut the carrot in half-inch matchsticks and steam lightly.

Place several spoonfuls of rice in the center of each nori sheet; followed by several carrot sticks and a dab of umeboshi paste; then roll up into a ball.

Serve with a sauce made of soy sauce and grated ginger.
